Job Descriptions
We are looking to hire a young, smart, ambitious, and experienced Store supervisor on behalf of our client at Jabi Lake Mall.
The role of a Supervisor one that involves the leading and managing others. The supervisor is responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management, also ensuring the Customers receives Maximum service from Front Staff.
The candidate should have organizational and communication skills as these skills help them transfer information from upper management to employees and communicate teams’ performance or needs to high-level managers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor staff productivity and provide constructive feedback
Managing Sales Staff and Coordinating Activities
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Receive customer complaints and resolve problems
Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
Compiling and reporting sales activities to Management
Resolve staff disputes
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Prepare and submit performance reports
Ensure that the work environment is safe, healthy and secure
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
Proven experience working in a Fashion outfit
Proven experience as a Supervisor or Sales Manager or Office Manager
B.Sc/BA relevant discipline from a tertiary institution
Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Additional Diploma/Certificate in sales or other online courses will be an added advantage..
