I clearly remember the influence they had on one or two of my sisters. To make a long story short. My parents stepped up and shut it down. Those friends weren’t permitted over to the house and they restricted the clothes and makeup they could wear. These were insane times. Huge fights, but over time and in reflection my sisters thanked my parents.
Now that some have their own daughters, they know how tough it can be.
People find it inappropriate I guess.
Take a look at this girl called Bhad Bhabie.
She’s born in 2003 and she’s now only 15 years of age but dresses like she’s much older. Don’t you find it inappropriate that some so young wears such clothing? She’s subjecting herself to who knows what is lurking in the dark. People might argue that it is her choice to choose whatever she is free to wear but we also question if her choice is a sensible one. I don’t think any of us would like to see a teenager get into some kind of trouble just because they overestimated their maturity level.
And this is Selena Gomez when she was 15. Pretty okay appearance that we have nothing much to say about it. I guess there is always that comparison between same generation kids and we will inevitably pick one that we find more comfortable with, such as Selena Gomez in a demure and lovely outfit.
People hate it when some teenagers act older than they are because the teenagers seem to underestimate everything that comes in their way. It’s annoying as sometimes, teenagers act like smart alecs but end up whining for help when it gets ugly. Not everyone is secure with having teenagers make bigger decisions, hence there’s a reason why there’s an age limit when it comes to voting.
*Edit: I’m not here to say that I’m against Bhad Bhabie’s way of dressing. She can reveal as much as she wants for all I care, but honestly if I were in that position, I would be too worried about my own safety to dress like that
