Ray Hushpuppi (born Igbalodely on June 14) also called “Aja Puppi” a.k.a Aja 4, is a Malaysian-base-Nigerian philanthropist. Hushpuppi is best known for his luxurious lifestyle he lives both home and abroad. The young man has taste for good things as he is highly fashionable.
A screenshot on the federal Bureau of Prisons website revealed that Hushpuppi is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
Hushpuppi is facing criminal charges alleging he conspired to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from business email compromise (BEC) frauds and other scams.
“If convicted of conspiracy to engage in money laundering, Abbas would face a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison,” US Department of Justice said in a statement on Friday.
Abbas and others further conspired to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from other fraudulent schemes and computer intrusions, including one scheme to steal £100 million (approximately $124 million) from an English Premier League soccer club, the complaint alleges.”
There are quite a few West African scammers who try to explain away their wealth by claiming they are a “bitcoin entrepreneur” or “real estate investor” when in fact they conduct Business Email Compromise scams against American companies, and Romance Scams against vulnerable women, and steal their money. Back in October, one such criminal, Ismaila Mustapha, who went by the Instagram nickname Mompha, was arrested and I mentioned it in a tweet:
